BMW 501 was first displayed in the Frankfurt Motor Show in the year 1951 and the sales of the car began in the year 1952. BMW 501 featured four speed manual transmissions. BMW 501 is a four seater; it was built as a six seater for its huge structure. A total of 9,019 units of BMW 501 were produced where 5,568 units featured eight cylinders. This engine was used in the year 1958 and it consisted of eight cylinders. The capacity of the engine is 2580 cc and it delivered an output power of 65 bhp.
